Public Viewing of Benchmark Advance Materials

The Houston County School District (HCSD) is considering adopting the Benchmark Advance Core Literacy Program for Kindergarten through 5th grade starting in the 2025-2026 school year.

This program is highly recommended by the Georgia Language Arts Supervisors (GLAS) and aligns with both the Science of Reading and the Georgia Early Literacy Act, providing a robust foundation for literacy development.

We value your input! Parents and community members are invited to preview these materials as part of our adoption process.

• January 30 1:00pm-3:00pm
• January 31 3:00pm-5:00pm
• February 3 8:30am-10:30am
• February 4 10:00am-12:00pm
• February 5 11:30am-1:30pm
• February 6 1:00pm-3:00pm
• February 7 3:00pm-5:00pm
