- 1973-1986: Houston Vocational School (HCSD)
- 1987-1998: Middle Georgia Technical Institute (State)
- 1999-2010: Houston County Career & Technology Center (HCSD)
- 2010-Current: Houston College and Career Academy (HCSD)
- The Houston County Board of Education renamed the school to the Houston College & Career Academy in March 2023. From 2010 to 2023, the school was named the Houston County Career Academy.
