Perry, 1912. Public school system structures. The building at the far left began as the Perry Baptist Female Seminary. In 1854 the name changed to Houston Female College. In 1896 it was sold to the public school system where it was utilized as the Perry High School. In 1923 it was moved and became a residence. During the mid-1960s the structure again became the property of the Perry Baptist Church. It was demolished ca. 1974. The structure was located on Main Street.
Perry High Gym 1950s
Perry, 1950s. Gymnasium at Perry High School, located on Penn Street. It was completed ca. 1927. In 1968 the structure burned.
