Summer Meals Program: Information for Site Hosts
The Houston County School Nutrition Program (SNP) will offer its annual summer feeding program in cooperation with the Georgia Department of Education once again this summer. Meals will be offered free of charge to children ages 18 and under beginning on Tuesday, May 27 and running through Friday, July 18, 2025.
Organizations offering summer programs for children may also be eligible to participate in this program and receive meals at no charge for their participants. Interested organizations must apply and be approved by May 2, 2025. Vacation Bible Schools, athletic practices, scout troops, recreation departments, and tutoring programs are examples of the many organizations that may be eligible to receive meals free of charge for children attending their programs and activities.
